Also the rush/min and max levels are auto-adjusted to provide real-time trigger points available for purchasing, keeping stock at the lowest possible levels for the maximum turnovers. This nightly program does not require user intervention. It prevents data corruption in the event of power failure, user error, program bugs, etc.

The speed of displaying 18 months of sales history for all of your branches in both OE and PO was reduced from 10+ seconds down to less than 1 second, a very noticeable improvement.

August 1, 2010

A decision was made to rewrite the source code, incorporating our highly successful DOS Office Visions features into the new Visions PHP software.

2009

A decision was for made to develop the PHP / MySQL software platform. This platform made installations possible on Windows, Linux, Macintosh and Internet Web Servers. Access can be made through any computer’s web browser with internet access. The website domains www.go2visions.com and www.visionsdistributionsoftware.com were purchased. A new company was later formed as Visions Distribution Software, LLC.

2008

No new enhancement updates would be added this year to our code platform.   All effort will be focused on researching programming languages to determine which one will be the best fit for the complete write.

2007

Conversion programs were researched to find a conversion utility to convert our existing code to Windows.  This process was long and with no success.

2006

At our annual corporate meeting the question was posed is it time to move from our DOS distribution software “Office Visions” built in 1987 to a Windows product. After many consultation meetings with various sources and our current customer base, the decision was unanimous but we would take it slow as to not interrupt our core business.
